Leopin, a boy gifted with extraordinary dexterity, spent his early years using his talents to assist others through various crafts. Operating entirely alone, Leopin amassed unparalleled versatility, excelling in every role he undertook. His accomplishments drew admiration from his childhood friend, a saint, and the attention of a brilliant alchemist. Meanwhile, the classmates who had once scorned him watched in dismay as their own fortunes dwindled—their homes remained shabby, their expeditions failed, and their standing in the academy crumbled.
The true irony lay in the misinterpretation of his skill. Far from being a weakness, “Dexterous Poor” symbolized a jack-of-all-trades, granting him the flexibility to master any profession temporarily.
