Akatsuki no Yona, also known as Yona of the Dawn, is a Japanese manga series created by Mizuho Kusanagi. Originally published in Hakusensha’s shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume, the story began serialization in August 2009. The plot centers around Princess Yona of the Kouka Kingdom, who initially enjoys a sheltered and peaceful life within the walls of Hiryuu Castle.
